SEDE (Social Equity and Diversity Education Office) is hosting its second annual Community Engagement Day, Friday, October 4th. Registration for the event ends on October 3rd at noon. 

You are invited to participate in the 2013 Montreal Food Justice Convergence organized by Justice Alimentaire pour Montréal (JAM). The goal of JAM is to build connections between communities and universities, activists, farmers and entrepreneurs  toward a more equitable and resilient food system for Montreal. Join us as we strengthen our collective efforts!  

Join Lilith Wyatt and Brent Mansfield in a discussion about the opportunities, benefits and challenges of Applied Student Research. Universities have the potential to be living laboratories and be leaders in supporting sustainable food systems. Independent studies, campus-community consultant projects and on campus action research have been avenues for student engagement, relevant research and food systems change. This webinar is open to all faculty, students, administrators, community organizations and anyone interested in learning!

OIKOS Project McGill is running a holistic education walk, or sustainable education walk. The walk lasts for one hour each Wed afternoon, beginning at 4pm at Gardner Hall and finishing Pine/Peel.
