Dear Colleagues, Please be advised that the Office of Sponsored Research will be closed from December 24 at noon to January 4, inclusively. If you are a researcher and you anticipate requiring services from the OSR team over the holidays, please submit your request to the appropriate team member by December 19, at 5 P.M. The OSR team will respond to all requests received after December 19 when service resumes on January 5. We thank you for your cooperation and wish you a very happy holiday season.
Research and International Relations is pleased to announce that the Office of Sponsored Research (OSR) has returned to the James Administration Building, as of Monday, May 13, 2013. Due to extensive flooding in the James Building in February, McGill temporarily relocated OSR staff off campus. Thank you for your support, patience, and flexibility during the period while we were displaced. If you have questions, please contact the OSR at 514-398-3996 or by email.
As previously communicated, the Tri-Agency (NSERC, SSHRC and CIHR) conducted a financial monitoring review at McGill in 2010 that now requires us to address significant concerns pertaining to the management of grant funds – more specifically, elements of McGill’s control framework for the administration of grant funds. A Steering Committee and Advisory Committee at McGill were created to direct and validate solutions proposed by the Tri-Agency Response Implementation Group (TRIG) to address the Tri-Agency recommendations.
