School of Information Studies Master's student Rebecca Nieto, who specializes in Archival Studies, receives international award
Rebecca Nieto, a student in the McGill School of Information Studies Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS) program, is a 2014 recipient of the Mosaic Scholarship given by the Society of American Archivists (SAA). The Mosaic Scholarship provides funding to students who demonstrate potential for scholastic and personal achievement and who manifest a commitment both to the archival profession and to advancing diversity concerns within it.
McGill School of Information Studies recent graduate Emily Kingsland (MLIS '14) was recently interviewed by the McGill Library's "Library Matters" blog about her successful Practicum placement while a student in the Master's program. During her Practicum, Emily was tasked with finding ways in which the Library could promote McGill’s digital collections through social media, including Pinterest.
