Deadline to apply for admission into first year Law for University and Mature (non-Cegep) applicants for Fall 2025 term. This deadline is also for applicants who will have completed more than a year of university studies in addition to the D.C.S. or Q.F.B. at the time of registration.
Deadline to report all exam conflicts to the Student Affairs Office (via SAO.law [at] mcgill.ca) for Fall term exams. Students may not make a Law course selection that produces an exam schedule conflict.
Deadline for McGill students in the Faculty of Law only to apply for faculty approval to participate in an exchange program during the 2025-2026 academic year. Students in other faculties have a later deadline.

Deferred examination application begins for Law for Fall term courses ending in Fall 2024 term. Submit deferred applications to Faculty of Law - Student Affairs Office. Law does not use Minerva application.
Deadline to apply for admission to Law for Special student applicants for Winter 2025 term.
Deadline to apply to graduate on Minerva for all undergraduate students and graduate students in all non-thesis programs (certificates, diplomas, Master's non-thesis) who expect to complete their program requirements at the end of the Fall 2024 term (February 2025 graduation).
NOTE: For those students able to change program information via curriculum change on Minerva, last day to make changes for the Fall term.
New students can obtain their ID cards once they have registered. The locations and operating hours of ID card centres on both campuses can be found on the Student Information website (www.mcgill.ca/students). Students must be registered for at least one Fall term course, and need to bring their McGill ID number, valid photo ID, and the documents used to prove citizenship status.

Last day for students to request fee exemptions and to submit legal documents for proof of Canadian citizenship and proof of Quebec residency to Service Point for the Fall 2024 term. Students in Medicine or Continuing Studies should submit their documents directly to their Faculty Student Affairs office or the School of Continuing Studies. Documents received after this date will be updated for the following term only.
Law fall term essays and Writing & Drafting Projects are due on December 12, 2024 at 15:00. If this date falls on a weekend, please be advised that the deadline will be the following Monday unless an earlier deadline has been imposed by the instructor.
