The uApply system will undergo a scheduled maintenance operation Wednesday, August 20, between 4 pm and 6 pm. The system will be unavailable during this period.  uApply is the system used by applicants to McGill graduate programs and by admissions staff to process those applications.

Upcoming French EPT dates for Summer 2014 registrationAugust 20, 6:30 - 8:45 p.m.The placement test takes place in the evening. Once registered you will receive an e-mail confirming your participation, the time and location of the exam. Since the test is written by a large group of students, we ask you to come 20 minutes before the scheduled time. Please bring two pieces of photo ID, a sharp HB pencil, and an eraser.

Part-time English Language Placement Test

All students must pass the Entrance Placement Test (EPT) in order to start in the program. The test results permit an accurate evaluation of a student’s English or French proficiency and determine the student’s level in the program structure. The test is approximately two hours and it consists of four (4) different sections: Oral comprehension; Grammar; Vocabulary; Written comprehension. Public Astro Night

AstroMcGill presents the 26th Public Astro Night, with a public lecture by Dr. Robert Ferdman ("Discovering radio blips and blasts: from pulsars to fast radio bursts") from the McGill Physics Department. The lecture will be followed by night sky observations (weather permitting) and a tour of an experimental astrophysics laboratory. This event is intended for a general audience, and it is free of charge. No reservation is necessary. Snacks and refreshments will be served (please bring your own cup).
