Synchro team hosts 57th annual Water Show: Feb. 8

The Martlets synchronized swim team will preview their routines for this weekend's league championship meet with the 57th annual McGill Water Show on Thursday, (Feb. 8) at the University’s Memorial Pool, located inside the McGill Sports Centre at 475 Pine Avenue West.

Synchro team golden at CUSSL championships

Jennifer Gill-Wilson of Trois-Rivieres, Que., and Toronto–born Vanessa Foucher each won a pair of gold medals as McGill captured their third consecutive Gerry Dubrule Trophy as champions of the Canadian University Synchro Swim League.

Martlets crew 5th, Redmen 6th at OUA championships

McGill came away with one gold, a silver and two bronze medals from the OUA rowing championships at St. Catharines, Ont., over the weekend. The women’s crew finished fifth of 12 teams, while the men placed sixth overall.

2008 McGill-Queen's Challenge Boat Race: April 27

The 12th annual McGill-Queen's Challenge Boat Race is scheduled to be held at the Lachine Canal on Sunday, April 27. It is the Canadian version of England's annual Oxford-Cambridge and the U.S.A.'s annual Harvard-Yale race.
