The Principal's Prize for Excellence in Teaching, established to recognize excellence in teaching and its importance to the academic experience of students at McGill University, is traditionally awarded at Fall Convocation at the Faculty Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Full Professor ranks. Faculties are reminded to submit their nominations no later than Friday, May 30, 2008.
The course evaluation period for regularly scheduled courses (lectures that end the week of April 7) will be available to students for completion on Minerva from March 17-April 12, 2008, inclusive.
The Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies Office (GPSO) and Teaching and Learning Services (TLS) are pleased to announce the first competition for the Arthur and Dawn Weston Fellowship in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. This fellowship was established in 2007 by Arthur and Dawn Weston to recognize and promote the development of university teaching and learning expertise in various disciplines. It is awarded by the GPSO upon the recommendation of TLS to an outstanding full-time graduate student interested in conducting research on university teaching and learning in any faculty.
