McGill University Safety staff will be working with SOS Richelieu to volunteer with the cleanup efforts and provide much-needed relief to thousands of victims. If you'd like to help too, we urge you to visit SOS Richelieu's website and sign up to take part. Whether you're hauling sandbags or working the phones, we need your help!
As part of a redesign of the www.mcgill.ca website, we're overhauling the McGill home page and we need your help to make sure it does everything you need it to do. That's why we've created a five-minute survey asking current and prospective students, staff, faculty and the whole McGill community how well our current home page responds to their needs.
How engaging is your McGill experience? Take the National Survey of Student Engagement at http://tinyurl.com/nsse-mcgill and let us know. We'll use your comments to improve our services and make McGill a more engaging place. Fill out the survey before June 1, and you could win one of two iPads.

Please note that a boil-water advisory has been issued for the Macdonald campus because of temporary problems with the chlorinator. Boiling water for one minute kills all water-borne disease causing micro-organisms. Bottled water will be provided to the campus until the machinery is repaired. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
The new atrium's steel framework has been installed. The ground floor laboratories are under construction. Demolition work is underway on the 3rd and 4th floors, near McConnell. Unforeseen site conditions are delaying the completion of renovation until summer 2011. We are working closely with the contractor to complete the project as quickly as possible. We apologize for this delay.
