Wilson Hall, 3506 University Street, has reopened this afternoon following flooding Thursday evening caused by a burst pump in the pumping station on Dr. Penfield Avenue. On behalf of Michael Di Grappa, Vice-Principal (Administration and Finance) McGill and MUNACA are at the bargaining table today, with the assistance of a conciliator appointed by the Government of Quebec. This is the first of what could be a number of conciliation meetings, with the goal of reaching a negotiated settlement in MUNACA’s current strike.

MUNACA represents many of the clerical workers, as well as lab technicians and other support staff who work at McGill. It is unfortunate that we have been unable to agree on terms for a new contract.

Now, we are launching the second and final phase to provide you with the full range of features.
Please note that the sidewalk in front of Wilson Hall (3506 University St.) has been cordoned off and the University St. exit/entrance to the building has been closed for the next few days. A stucco/cement coating on an upper portion of the building's facade is old, brittle and becoming unstable. The University will have a contractor on site to remove this material before the end of the week. The
