We are currently experiencing system problems affecting several IT services. Email and file servers were slow between 3:30pm and 5:15pm today, and the following services are currently unavailable: agora.mcgill.ca, qnomy(ICS) and avanti(printing). Maintenance to the Frank Dawson Adams Building network system will take place Saturday, November 8. The building will have no network connectivity from approximately 6:00 am - 9:00 pm for jacks that terminate in the ground floor Telco Closet. The 2nd and 3rd floor will have no network connectivity from approximately 6:00am - 10:00 am. Affected users have already been alerted.
This is to inform you that Grade Submission and Grade Approval for the 200809 Term opens on Tuesday, 18 November 2008 at 9:00 a.m. As of this date, instructors may submit final grades on Minerva or through myCourses and Faculty Student Affairs Offices may approve final grades on Minerva.

Maintenance on the BlackBerry server will be performed on Thursday, October 23, 2008 starting at 11:30pm and lasting around an hour. Blackberry services will be interrupted during this period.
Maintenance on the Wireless service will be performed on Friday, October 24, 2008 starting at 5:00 a.m. and lasting around two hours. During this time wireless users at the downtown and MacDonald campuses, including Residences, may experience some connectivity issues for around 15 minutes.

Facilities Management will be conducting a power transfer Wednesday, October 22 from 3:00 am to 7:00 am, which will affect equipment in buildings in the Leacock sector (see full announcement for affected buildings). We anticipate some network disruption and potential problems with some of the classroom technology after power is restored. See full announcement for details.
