Please note that the version of Oracle Application Server used by Banner and Minerva will be upgraded this weekend during the regular monthly downtime (Saturday, Dec. 13 at 10:00 pm to Sunday, Dec 14 at 10:00 am). Statement from Heather Munroe-Blum, Principal and Vice-Chancellor: I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Vaughan Dowie as Executive Head of Public Affairs, effective immediately. In this position, he will report directly to the Principal and Vice-Chancellor and will serve as a member of the University’s senior team.
The University regrets that, despite intensive bargaining, the help of a provincially appointed conciliator and an offer to increase salaries by 8.5% over three years ending November 30, 2010, a contract agreement with MUNACA has so far proven elusive.
