There might be help for golfers who routinely beat themselves up over poor shots and bad putting. It comes in a video game called Matrix developed by Dr. Mark Baldwin, a psychologist at McGill.

Dr Juli Atherton was recently named one of two winners of the Statistical Society of Canada's 2007 Pierre Robillard Award. This award recognises the best doctoral thesis in probability or statistics defended at a Canadian university. Congratulations to Dr Atherton!
