The ISS Program is pleased to announce a new option in our suite of professional skills workshops from our partner the McGill SKILLSETS Program: Human Biomedical Research Ethics: Guiding You in the Right Direction Are you new to the research environment? Contemplating conducting a biomedical study on humans?

The ISS Training Program would like to congratulate the winners of the 2013 Photo contest, held at Thompson House last Thursday March 7th after the very successful Bringing Your Sensor Technology to Market speaker session. We would also like to thank the many other excellent entries.  It was a close race!

Please note that applications for the NSERC-CREATE Masters and PhD Training Programs in Integrated Sensor Systems are now open to all students working on integrated sensor systems research at McGill, INRS, Université de Sherbrooke and Ecole Polytechnique. All applications for Fall 2012 AND Winter 2013 training and awards must be submitted in full by May 15th, 2012.

The February 15th ISS Sensors Seminar will be presented by Professor Zeljko Zilic of McGill's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Prof Zilic will present Multisensor Integration: From Devices to Applications and Back.

ISS's soft lithography and microfluidics workshop is now open for this year's registration. The Prof. David Juncker Group's Interdisciplinary Micro and Nano Biotechnology Workshop will run from February 20th ro February 24th, 2012.

For supervisors interested in submitting a project to be included in the 2012 NSERC-CREATE Integrated Sensor Systems Undergraduate Training Program.

The NSERC CREATE Integrated Sensor Systems Training Program (ISS) will be accepting applications until September 15, 2011 at 12pm (noon). This program offers graduate students hands-on sensor system related workshops and business skills training. Students may also apply for student awards and funding for international exchanges.

The 2011 CREATE-ISS Summer School is would like to invite students and fellows from McGill, INRS, Universite de Sherbrooke and Ecole Polytechnique to enter the POSTER and PRESENTATION competitions at the CREATE-ISS Summer School on JUNE 3, 2011. Prizes of $100 & $50 will be awarded to the top 2 posters AND presentations! Abstracts are due by May 20th, 2011 to administrator-miam.engineering@m

Graduate students working on sensors related projects may apply.
