Due to replacement of ceiling tiles and lighting, the 4th floor of the Life Sciences and Osler libraries will be closed : November 9-12, 2010 from 18:00 – 21:00.
The Centre for Health Care Management at UBC has created a new resource to help health-care managers keep up with evidence from peer-reviewed journals, the grey literature (reports from government, NGOs and other organizations), as well as commentary in the media. The beta version of this new portal, called READ, is now being updated regularly.

McGill Library is pleased to announce the official launch of a new mobile library website as of June 1. Access library services any place, any time on your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and most smart phones. Features on the mobile site include: Catalogue search, Course Reserves, Ask us, Library hours, Library finder on Google Maps, Library News, and FAQs.
The COLOMBO Interlibrary Loan system will be un available for McGill clients or library staff from Friday May 21 to Monday May 24 inclusive, while an upgrade to version 4.1 is in progress. Access to COLOMBO will resume on Tuesday May 25 in the morning.
The Library has a trial of DynaMed until June 20, a point-of-care reference resource designed to provide clinicians with the best available evidence to support clinical decision-making. It can be accessed at http://trial.ebscohost.com by using the username "mcgillmed", and the password "ebsco".
Scopus is coming to the Cyberthèque in the McGill Library on Wednesday, March 25 to present a variety of training sessions targeted to specific audiences.
