PressDisplay allows you to browse the online versions of 250 print newspapers from 55 countries. Individual newspaper titles can be accessed via the A to Z eJournal list and will also be available via the catalogue. Feel free to let us know what you think about this new resource. The next ProQuest platform enhancement release is scheduled for July 15. A twelve (12) hour maintenance window will take place to install the new enhancements. The window will begin Saturday, July 15, at 22:00 EDT and end Sunday, July 16, at 10:00 EDT.
The McGill Library, thanks to funding from the Students' Society of McGill University (SSMU), is looking for students to fill positions as Library Ambassadors. The positions will start in mid-August (exact date to be announced) and will continue throughout the term on a part-time basis.
It is now possible to use Library printers from the wireless network if authenticated with NetConnect. This is great news for people who tote their own laptops and do not otherwise have campus access to printers. Colour printers are also accessible this way. An application must be installed locally.
The 2005 data are now available for Journal Citation Reports. JCR provides statistical information based on citation data, giving you a systematic, objective means to critically evaluate the world's leading science and social sciences journals.
