Orbis and EIU World Investment Service (WIS): Trials extended to Feb. 22

Trials for Orbis, "a global product that integrates information held across BvDEP's company information product range," and EIU World Investment Service (WIS) have been set up for campus-wide usage and the databases should now be accessible to the McGill community. Jan. 28: Temporary closure of computer zone in McLennan Library Bldg

On Sunday, January 28, an event has been scheduled for Open House 2007. The computer zone on Level 1 (main floor) of the McLennan Library Building will not be accessible from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. Additional computers and group and individual study areas are available elsewhere in the McLennan and Redpath buildings, as well as in other branch libraries on campus. 'A Guide to Physical Examination': Streaming videos now available

These videos demonstrate appropriate techniques for assessing patients, providing a visual companion to the textbook, now in its ninth edition (2007). Each video shows approaches to assessment for a different body system. Note that all of these videos are not for the faint of heart. Some are explicit and discretion is requested before viewing in public areas.
