Changes to CISTI Source level of service: Extended

Please take note that as of April 1, 2007, every unmediated CISTI Source account at McGill will be changed to a new level of service called Extended. The Link and Global service levels have been combined into this new Extended service to provide the best features of both.

'Osler and the Pathological Specimen': an ongoing exhibition at the Osler Library of the History of Medicine

"Osler and the Pathological Specimen: McGill University and the Montreal General Hospital, 1870-1884" is an exhibition of medical specimens created by Sir William Osler. Curated by Dr. Richard Fraser, the exhibit is located at the Osler Library of the History of Medicine, on the third floor of the McIntyre Medical Sciences Building.

COLOMBO service interruptions - March 18 and March 25

The COLOMBO Interlibrary service will not be available on Sunday, March 18, from 10 a.m. to noon, and Sunday, March 25, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Searching and ordering via COLOMBO will not be accessible due to technical work on the system which is occurring at these times.

New geospatial data available: Quebec Electoral Boundaries

Now available, just in time for the provincial election: Quebec Electoral District and Polling Division Files. These files, when used with a geographic information system such as ArcGIS, can be used to display the election results and much more.
