The McGill Library system will be closed during the campus-wide holiday break as of 6pm on Thursday, December 22, 2011 to Monday, January 2, 2012 inclusive. From Tuesday, January 3rd to Sunday, January 8th, the Library will be open at select branches with limited service and study access hours.
The system upgrade process encountered some technical issues and took longer time than we had expected. We now have to extend the downtime until the work is completed. Due to system upgrade work, the Find It @ McGill service and eResearch Gateway will not be available from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. During this planned downtime, access to McGill electronic resources through the Library's Classic Catalogue, eResearch Gateway, Find an eJournal, Google Scholar, and LibX McGill will not be available.

The Library is happy to report that the Humanities and Social Sciences e-classroom is now open. Located in Room RM-23 in the Redpath Library Building directly across from the Redpath main entrance and adjacent to the Redpath Loans Desk, this e-classroom is now open to students when not booked for instructional purposes.
