On Tuesday, March 1, 2011 from 1:00pm-7:00pm, the Group Study Zone (including group study rooms 22A, 22B and 22C) located on the main floor of the Redpath Library Building will be closed for the McGill Living Library event.
As a result of the crane used for the renovation of the McIntyre Building being removed, access to the building and to the Osler Library will be restricted.
Relocation of Management Collection to Humanities & Social Sciences Library results in increase in study and teaching spaces at Business Information Centre
As part of the University's overall plan to improve student services, the McGill Library is realigning both the Management Library staff and collections to provide better service and access to information for all McGill students and faculty. As a result Management Collection will be relocated to the 4th floor of the Humanities and Social Studies Library.
Due to a special event the Osler Library’s reference service and rare material consulting will not be available from 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15.
Dr. Tania Anne Woloshyn of the Department of Art History & Communication Studies, McGill University, opened the Osler Library’s latest exhibition by discussing the visual culture of Heliotherapy, an ancient practice of total bodily exposure to sunlight, and Phototherapy, an electric light therapy pioneered in the 1890s.
The Walter Hitschfeld Geographic Information Centre will be implementing a new after-hours access policy for students, faculty and staff.
