Karron James, a McGill graduate student, from Antigua, wins the Liz Paterson International Student of the Year Award from the Canadian Bureau for International Education.
We wish to offer our support to McGill students returning from South East Asia and students from the region who are presently in Montreal who may have been affected in one way or another by the devastation wrought by typhoons that have recently struck the area.
The Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE) is accepting applications for the Elizabeth Paterson International Student of the Year Award. The International Student of the Year Award Program asks international students to offer their insights into the study-in-Canada experience.
As of February 3rd, 2009, eligible international students will be able to apply online for an Off-Campus Work Permit through Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
We wish to offer our deepest sympathies to all those affected by the recent terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India. On behalf of the University, Professor Heather Munroe-Blum, Principal and Vice-Chancellor, extends condolences to the families of two members of the McGill community, Professor Michael Moss and graduate Elizabeth Russell, who died in the tragic events.
