Call for applications - 2nd International Young Leaders Forum

To explore the unique contribution that young professionals and scholars can make to the promotion of multiculturalism and human rights, the Centre will host the second International Forum for Young Leaders, October 4-7, 2010. The Forum will consist of a series of workshops, roundtable discussions, and cultural events aimed at engaging the policy issues that ethno-cultural diversity raises.

Edmonton community garden benefits Rwandan support group

"During the summer growing months, about half a hectare of land in Edmonton is all that separates McGill Law student Eloge Butera from his native Rwanda. The patch of earth, located at the University of Alberta farm, was transformed this spring into the Green&Gold Community Garden, now bursting with market-ready produce."

Three McGill Law Students Receive AUCC Students for Development Awards to Support International Human Rights Internships

Law student Philip Duguay publishes in the Singapore Law Review

After doing a human rights internship in 2008 at the State Institute of Islamic Studies (IAIN) Ar-Raniry in Aceh, Philip Duguay wrote an article on the question of women's rights in Aceh, Indonesia. His paper will be published in the forthcoming issue of the Singapore Law Review.
