On Monday, October 10th (Thanksgiving Day), 24 hour study access will be available at the Humanities and Social Sciences Library and the Schulich Library of Science and Engineering. All other library branches will be physically closed. Services (loans, reserves, consultations) at all branches will also be closed on Monday, October 10th.
As of October 1st, all reserve materials housed in the Howard Ross Service Point (4th floor, Bronfman Building) will be relocated to the Humanities and Social Sciences Library.

The New York Times recently initiated a paywall for access to their website. The New York Times does not yet offer an institutional subscription. An alternative is Proquest National Newspapers. It contains scanned full-text (no images) of NYTimes from 1980-present. Library is offering access to this database on a trial basis. Please try this database. Send feedback to: email@example.com

Relocation of Management Collection to Humanities & Social Sciences Library results in increase in study and teaching spaces at Business Information Centre
As part of the University's overall plan to improve student services, the McGill Library is realigning both the Management Library staff and collections to provide better service and access to information for all McGill students and faculty. As a result Management Collection will be relocated to the 4th floor of the Humanities and Social Studies Library.
Howard Ross Library of Management is under renovation. As of September 2011, the following Management collections and services may be found in alternate locations...
In preparation for Winter 2011 renovations, the Howard Ross Library is now moving its regular-loan print collection (books, bound journals, and annual reports). All other Management Library services, collections, and facilities will remain available until the end of term.
