On behalf of the McGill community, I have extended our condolences to the family and friends of former Vice-Principal (Administration and Finance) John Armour, who died peacefully on Sunday, a little more than a week short of his 83rd birthday.

Now, a newly published study by McGill University researchers shows that a low dose of Pateamine A is effective at preventing cancer-induced muscle wasting, which may lead to cachexia-fighting drugs.
