Please note that the Cyberthèque in the Humanities and Social Sciences Library will be closed from Tuesday August 21st until Thursday August 23rd, 2012 to allow construction crews working on the McLennan-Redpath Terrace reconstruction access. The Cyberthèque will reopen on Friday August 24th, 2012.
Several library services will be unavailable on Tuesday August 7th 2012 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm while maintenance work is being carried out on the server.

eScholarship@McGill as well as eTheses and locally digitized materials accessible through the Catalogue will be unavailable on Wednesday May 9th 2012 from 10:00pm to midnight while maintenance work is being carried out on the server.
The system upgrade process encountered some technical issues and took longer time than we had expected. We now have to extend the downtime until the work is completed. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We are trying our best to bring the services back as soon as possible. Thanks for your understanding!
Due to system upgrade work, the Find It @ McGill service and eResearch Gateway will not be available from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. During this planned downtime, access to McGill electronic resources through the Library's Classic Catalogue, eResearch Gateway, Find an eJournal, Google Scholar, and LibX McGill will not be available.

On Monday, October 10th (Thanksgiving Day), 24 hour study access will be available at the Humanities and Social Sciences Library and the Schulich Library of Science and Engineering. All other library branches will be physically closed. Services (loans, reserves, consultations) at all branches will also be closed on Monday, October 10th.

The city is in the process of carrying out work on the water system. As a result, there is a risk that the water quality will be effected. Please do not drink the water until further notice.

The COLOMBO Interlibrary Loan system will be un available for McGill clients or library staff from Friday May 21 to Monday May 24 inclusive, while an upgrade to version 4.1 is in progress. Access to COLOMBO will resume on Tuesday May 25 in the morning.
