On Wednesday, December 12, 2007, the Web Service Group will move to 688 Sherbrooke to join its parent unit, Content and Collaboration Solutions.

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) awarded McGill University the silver medal in the Complete Institutional Web Sites category. There were 41 entries in this category, with two silver medals and one bronze medal awarded. CASE is a non-profit association encompassing 3,300 colleges, universities and elementary and secondary schools in 54 countries.
In the afternoon of Friday, March 23, McGill switched its search engine to the Google Search Appliance, meaning faster, more accurate results, presented with that familiar Google look and feel. Enjoy!

Come see what professors are using inside and outside of the classroom to create an environment that is supportive of both teaching and learning. Representatives from IST departments that support teaching and learning will also be on hand to provide information about their services to instructors.
From September 5-14, 2006, the Classroom Help Line will be staffed from 8 am to 8 pm Monday to Thursday, and 8 am to 5 pm Friday. To call the Classroom Help Line, use the classroom emergency telephone or dial 094352 using a McGill telephone.
All McGill instructors are invited to the Fair to share their teaching experiences with different technologies and demonstrate how they use them for teaching and learning. Register early using the online registration form (click on "More information"); prizes for early registration will be awarded! If you want to showcase your work and/or demonstrate examples at the Fair, please email Adam Finkelstein by April 28. The Fair takes place at the Faculty Club on Thursday, May 4, from 1 to 4 pm.
