At the beginning of the new school year, we are reporting on many student-centred IT initiatives, including student response systems in the classroom, the Canadian Student Aid project and exchange program applications on Minerva. Also featured are stories on wireless and Virtual Private Networks, expert advice on maintaining your email quota, and other innovative best practices at McGill.
The 2007-2008 Strategic Plan explains McGill's current opportunities and challenges in information technology services offered by central IT units. This plan continues the agenda for IT initiatives on campus.
myCourses (WebCT Vista) will be unavailable until 12:01 am tonight due to a technical problem with the integration between Minerva and myCourses. All course data and content will remain intact. The problem is being worked on and we hope to have a resolution shortly. This has no impact on the Summer 2007 term.
