McGill women defeat Carabins to win Enos Cup

BCom student, Ann-Sophie Bettez and Katia Clement-Heydra each scored once and added three assists as No. 1-ranked McGill cruised to an 8-1 victory over the Montreal Carabins last night to capture the team’s sixth consecutive Ed Enos Cup as champion of the Quebec university women’s hockey league.

Desautels BCom students place 1st at the Business Strategy Challenge 2011

McGill BCom students put their case analysis and presentation skills to the test once again at the 7th annual Business Strategy Challenge (BSC 2011) at Georgetown University in Washington, DC which took place from February 24 to 27. After a morning preliminary round and a final round in the afternoon, the McGill team placed 1st overall out of a total of 20 competing universities.

Follow the 5 Hot Cities Tour Fundraising Campaign!

Follow along with students via the 5 Hot Cities Tour blog. In a student-led initiative, the Desautels Faculty of Management has partnered with the KC Mahindra Foundation’s Nanhi Kali to raise $5,000 in 10 days, matched dollar-for-dollar by a list of generous corporate sponsors, in the hopes that they can present the Nanhi Kali Foundation with a final pooled sum of $10,000.

The 29 students enrolled in the Master of Business Administration program at the Desautels Faculty of Management will be touring the country starting Thursday and spreading word of their trip through social media tools such as Facebook and Twitter, with the goal of raising $10,000 to send impoverished girls to school.
