McGill grads making Mighty impact on NHL

This spring, Mike Babcock became the second former McGill University hockey player — and the first since Lester Patrick in 1937 — to coach in the Stanley Cup finals, as the Anaheim Mighty Ducks lost to the New Jersey Devils in seven games.

McGill MBA grad Brooke Fishback teams up and wins International Diversity prize in the University of San Francisco Plan Competition

Brooke Fishback, McGill MBA'03, along with Poul La Cour from the Copenhagen Business School, Denmark, and Oren Shrem from Tel Aviv Graduate School of Management, Israel, teamed up to participate in the University of San Francisco Graduate School of Management 2003 International Business Plan Competition this past April 9-12.

Financial Times finds McGill MBA one of the most international worldwide

The Financial Times survey of 100 MBA programs in the world, released today, gives the McGill MBA program top ranks in North America: first for international mobility of its graduates, first for percentage of international professors, and in the top five for percentage of international students. Worldwide, McGill graduates rank in the top ten — for the third year in a row — for their international mobility. This criterion is made up of various components, the most important being the percentage of graduates who work in different countries after graduation.

Percival Molson Stadium: A new lease on life

McGill will receive nearly $13 million from three levels of government under the Canada-Quebec Infrastructure Program for the purposes of renovating the 88-year-old stadium. The Montreal Alouettes Football Club will also contribute to the project.
