Wilson Hall reopens

Published: 9 September 2011

Wilson Hall, 3506 University Street, has reopened this afternoon following flooding Thursday evening caused by a burst pump in the pumping station on Dr. Penfield Avenue. While some damage occurred on the lower level to aid in the pumping of water, this will be repaired in due course.

McTavish Street, which was closed last night, was reopened this morning, although there is no vehicular access to Dr. Penfield from McTavish until further notice.

The Redpath and McLennan library buildings and Service Point reopened earlier today. No other buildings are closed because of the flooding. This is the last update that will be posted on this incident.
