Cleaning, for most, is a chore. But for Tolulope Ilesanmi, it is a practice, a business, and an agent of social change.

Ilesanmi started Zenith Cleaners during his MBA. Though he came from a computer engineering and high-level banking background in Nigeria, he’d always found cleaning a great stress reliever and aid to creative thinking. Then, while taking early morning cleaning shifts before class (which doubled as workouts) he had an epiphany.

... Ilesanmi credits the MBA and opportunities outside classes — including being a member of Net Impact, a group of MBAs using business to address social and environmental issues, and organizing the McGill Graduate Business Conference — for giving him the tools to start his own company.
