Be aware of fraudulent email entitled "Helpdesk Report! MCGILL
is upgrading the email servers to Microsoft Exchange 2011 (from
Exchange 2003/2007)" that are circulating at McGill. The email asks
you to click a link and fill in information to "activate" a mailbox
move and increase your storage space.
DELETE these emails and do not click on any links or
attachments provided.
IT Services has blocked access to the offending site from on
campus, but you may not be prevented from going to the
site if you are off-campus.
If you have already gone to the site, please change your McGill
Password immediately.
Note that legitimate emails from McGill will NEVER ask you to
submit your username/password credentials.
