McGill Human Resources has asked Research and International Relations to relay updates on the University’s negotiations with AMURE, the union representing research associates and assistants.

On February 20, the parties signed the memorandum of agreement pertaining to both research associates and research assistants. Members of both units of AMURE will be called upon to vote on the contents of the tentative agreements at special general assemblies scheduled for March 12 (downtown campus) and March 13 (Macdonald campus). Once ratified, both parties will review the French and English wording of the tentative agreements in view of signing a final version of the two collective agreements.
