Soccer Martlets rally to tie No.5-ranked Gee-Gees

OTTAWA -- Hannah Simmons of West Vancouver, B.C., and Alexandra Morin-Boucher of St. Gabriel de Brandon, Que., scored in the 75th and 82nd minute, respectively, as McGill rallied from a 2-0 deficit and battled the No.5-ranked Ottawa Gee-Gees to a 2-2 draw in non-conference play in the nation's capital, Wednesday.
Ottawa had taken a 2-0 lead on goals in the 10th and 55th minutes.
The Martlets, who own a 9-3-2 overall record against CIS opponents, resume regular-season play on Friday when they host Concordia at Molson Stadium.
