Research suggests women self-select out of senior appointments
Research has been published suggesting that women are underrepresented in high-paying jobs because they are not applying for them. According to Professor Roxana Barbulescu, of the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University in Canada women are effectively taking themselves out of the running for certain jobs rather than being subject to discrimination by the employers....
