Quebec: Palliative and End-of-life Care Plan

Daniel Weinstock, Full Professor and James McGill Professor, Faculty of Law, McGill University. He is also director of the McGill Institute for Health and Social Policy.

His take is that palliative care and end-of-life, including physician-assisted dying, are best thought of as part of the same policy package.

His research explores the governance of certain types of liberal democracies, and the effects of religious and cultural diversity from an ethical perspective on the political and ethical philosophy of public policy.
