Problems with the home page in Internet Explorer

We are having some (hopefully very) temporary problems with the home page: the layout is not displaying properly. Please know that we are aware of the problem and working to resolve it as soon as possible. Firefox does seem to be displaying the page properly. Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
