Pension plan information sessions

'New Hire' information session

For new hires who are eligible and new members who need answers to questions such as: Should I join? How much do I contribute? How much does the University contribute on my behalf? What investment options are available to me?

Pension Plan information session

For all members of the McGill University Pension Plan who would like answers to the following questions: What is a hybrid pension plan? What is the Defined Benefit Minimum Pension provision? What investment options are available to me and how do I make a change to my investment distribution? How can I better understand my pension statement?

Retirement information session

Open to all members of the McGill University Pension Plan; of most interest to those members approaching retirement. The following topics will be covered: (1) Understanding the importance of planning for your retirement, (2) Understanding the retirement options and decisions you will need to make, and (3) Determining if you will have enough money at retirement.
