Instead of the old, authoritarian model, today’s millennial-heavy workforce responds better to a more democratic feel. In fact, according to Desautels Assistant Professor Suzanne Gagnon, 21st-century leadership is not an individual thing. It rather grows out of collaboration — even at the entry level.
