myMcGill portal upgrade this evening

Later today, IT Services will put in place a new high-availability myMcGill portal.  In order to perform the upgrade, myMcGill portal will be unavailable from 6 pm to 7 pm today, March 31.

From 6 pm to 6:15: please use this link to access a web page with the most popular IT services, including Minerva -- http://www.mcgill.ca/it/portalservices.

Starting at 6:15 pm: users trying to access the myMcGill portal will be automatically redirected to that page.

After the upgrade:

• You will still be able to access the portal using the myMcGill tab on all McGill web pages.
• The URL will change, i.e. it will no longer be mymcgill.mcgill.ca.
• Any portal customizations made prior to the upgrade will be lost. and will need to be redone.
• Any login credentials previously entered for your Library Account will have to be re-entered.
