McIntyre renovation update

All the new Strobic chimneys have been installed on the McIntyre roof and are now working.

Seventy-five percent of the new HVAC system is now in operation. The remainder will be up and running by the end of February. Ventilation conduits are being installed in the mechanical rooms for exhaust as well as circulation.

The 8th and 9th floor labs are fully renovated (architecture, mechanical and electrical). New lab benches and exhaust hoods have been installed. A portion of the 10th floor will be completed by the beginning of February.

Phase 1 of the new washroom construction has begun and washrooms on floors 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 13 are closed for renovation until Mid-February.

The tower crane will remain onsite until mid-February, in order to lift pipes to McIntyre's upper floors and close the façade.

Freezer farm installation (floors 10, 11, 12 and 13) has begun and will be completed by Mid-February.
