McINTYRE CIRCULATION RESTRICTED FOR INSTALLATION OF CRANE

Please be advised that Promenade Sir William Osler will be closed from Thursday, December 8th until Monday December 21st, in order to install a crane for use on the Stewart Biology Building.  Detour signs will be on site for guidance and attached you will find the installation plan.

Car access: Davis House and Hosmer House will only be accessible by car from de la Montagne Street.  McIntyre Building will only be accessible by car from Peel.

Pedestrian access: Sir William Osler will remain accessible, but only the west sidewalk (Davis and Hosmer House sidewalks) will remain open.  The east sidewalk (McIntyre and Stewart biology side) will be blocked.  Pedestrians will have to walk on the west sidewalk and then cross the street to get to McIntyre. In addition to the cones indicating the areas blocked, security agents will be on site.

This street closure is required for installation of a crane, required for ventilation work on the Stewart Biology Building.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Should you have any questions regarding this closure, please contact our office at extension 7170 or buildingsec.med [at] mcgill.ca.

Thank you in advance for your co-operation.
