McGill Library releases the Find an eJournal toolbar

The McGill Library has released the Find an eJournal toolbar. This toolbar will install in your Internet Explorer browser and will allow you to quickly and efficiently identify electronic journals in our collection.

To install the browser, follow these steps:

1) click on the link below:
http://mclink.library.mcgill.ca/sfx/az?param_perform_value=toolbar&action=install

2) on the subsequent page, click on the SAVE option

3) save the file to your desktop

4) once the file has been downloaded, click on CLOSE

5) return to your desktop and locate the file you have saved. Look for an icon with a prominent letter "S" labeled as "SFX Toolbar.exe.

6) Click on the icon, then on RUN

7) click on INSTALL, then CLOSE

If Internet Explorer was open you will not see the SFX toolbar. You need to close the browser and re-open it for the SFX toolbar to display. From now on you can search for the Library's ejournals from this box.

Please note that this toolbar works with Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher ONLY.
