McGill Law alumni to receive Advocatus Emeritus title in 2013

On June 27, 2013, the Quebec Bar announced the recipients of the Advocatus Emeritus title for 2013.

The Faculty of Law wishes to congratulate alumni Robert-Jean Chénier (BCL’74); Eric M. Maldoff (BCL’74, LLB’75), a member of the McGill Board of Governors; the Hon. Joseph R. Nuss (BCL’58); Marilyn Ann Piccini-Roy (BCL’83, LLB’82), a Faculty lecturer; and James A. Woods (BCL’73, LLB’74) a Faculty lecturer and former president of the Faculty Advisory Board.

The Advocatus Emeritus title is awarded to members of the Bar who have distinguished themselves through a remarkable career, outstanding contributions to the profession or constructive community work.

The distinctions will be awarded during an official ceremony on September 23, to be held at the Montreal Science Centre.
