McGill celebrates 28th Annual Management Achievement Awards

Five outstanding Canadian business leaders will be honoured for their success and contributions to the community at a luncheon organized by the students of the McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management on Friday, Feb. 1.

The five 2008 award recipients have demonstrated outstanding entrepreneurship, ethics and corporate social responsibility – core values that capture the spirit of Desautels management students. These leaders are:

Arlene Dickinson, President, Venture Communications Ltd.
Daniel Germain, Founding President, Québec Breakfast Club
Gerald W. Schwartz, OC, Chairman and CEO, Onex Corporation
Moses Znaimer, BA’63, media innovator and owner
Herschel Victor, CM, BCom’44, Chairman and CEO, Jack Victor Ltd., who will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Peter Todd, Dean of the Desautels Faculty of Management, and student members of the organizing committee will address the awards luncheon.
