McGill BCom student to receive Quebec Lieutenant Governor Prize

Published: 27 April 2007

Clive Chang will be awarded the Quebec Lieutenant Governor's Community Volunteer Award for Students at the Spring 2007 Convocation.

The selection committee was impressed with Clive's sustained contributions to the community, notably as musical director of the McGill Savoy Society, and as acting director of McGill's Soulstice A Cappella singing group. These contributions are all the more remarkable in that he simultaneously pursued degrees in Commerce (General with Finance and Strategic Management - Global concentrations) and Music (Honours Composition - Piano) with outstanding results.

These awards recognize the social commitment of outstanding graduates from Quebec secondary schools, colleges, universities and vocational training and adult education centres.
