Macdonald Campus Seed Library Launch

Published: 24 March 2017

There were happy faces all around at Monday's launch of the Macdonald Campus Seed Library. The project, initiated by Liaison Librarian Dana Ingalls, offers seeds and gardening resources to members of the McGill community. According to Ingalls, "many public and academic libraries are expanding services to meet community needs. They are lending tools, artwork, exercise equipment, and more. This sort of program epitomizes the new, innovative channels being created by librarians, to improve service, and to demonstrate that libraries are as useful and relevant as ever, just in new ways."

If you weren't able to attend Monday's event, you still have time to borrow seeds and sign-up for a workshop.
