We are currently addressing some issues with the /channels website and as a result some of the listings and feeds you normally find here may not be currently available. We are working to address these issues and expect to restore the site to full service in the near future.
As of December 28th, McGill's license of Virus Barrier X (5 & 6) will expire. Replacing it is a new product, Trend Micro's Smart Surfing for Mac. Its features include antivirus, antispyware and web threat protection; additionally, it has built in parental controls, a spam blocker and a two-way firewall.
As this is a new product offered by Trend Micro, a special build was created for McGill that is valid for one year from the time it is activated.
While current Virus Barrier X users will be protected against internet threats until December 28th, we recommend uninstalling it and installing Smart Surfing for Mac at your earliest convenience.
