La Bohème's Philippe Sly wins the Metropolitan Opera Regionals in Buffalo- now on to the Semi-finals in NYC

Philippe Sly won the Met Regionals yesterday in Buffalo and is onto the Met Semi-Finals in February in New York City (they sing on the Met stage for a chance to be one of the National Winners - each getting a $15,000 prize). Philippe sings Marcello in La Bohème on Wednesday, Jan. 26 and Saturday, Jan. 29. He is finishing his Bachelors of Music this May, studying voice with Sanford Sylvan.
