Innocence McGill among Forces AVENIR finalists

Published: 14 September 2006

On September 28, in Quebec City, the Forces AVENIR gala will be held. Forces AVENIR aims to recognize and promote the commitment of young people in projects that enrich knowledge, arouse the desire for success, encourage the development of community awareness and thus contribute to the development of socially conscious, active and responsible citizens who are both dedicated to their community and open to the world.

Among the nine McGill finalists is Innocence McGill, a student-led, non-profit endeavour at McGill University's Faculty of Law. Its mandate is to operate as a non-profit legal clinic that researches and investigates claims of wrongful conviction within the province of Quebec.

Good luck to our finalists!
