Published: 23 February 2009

Canada snapped a goalless draw with five markers in the final period, including two by Davidson and one by Hill, who was credited with the winner at the 48-second mark. Less than six minutes later, St. FX's Brayden Ferguson of Toronto, and Moncton's Mariève Provost of Laval, scored 82 seconds apart to put Canada ahead 3-0. Davidson then struck twice at 9:52 and 10:45 to ice the contest. The Canadian women sport a 2-0 record as they face Slovakia tomorrow.
